Lovely Sunday Lunch at Oldfields

I am truly blessed. Overdose of lush food over the weekend. It’s odd as I had the idea I would be hiding in the comforts of home, away from the snow. Heavenly 3 course lunch at Capriccio Ristorante Italiano yesterday and a 3 course Sunday lunch at Oldfields Durham. Love to share pictures with you

Opted for all 3 courses. (Why, of course!)

Devilled whitebait to start. Particularly enjoyed the chilli dipping sauce.

Time for the roast! Oh, this was lush! Beef was slightly overdone but am not fussed.

Been craving for Eton Mess for a while and today I enjoyed Toffee Apple Eton Mess.

This was the other dessert on our table, their popular sticky toffee pudding paired with butterscotch sauce and ice cream.

Sorry for making you drool but you should really try Oldfields Durham even if its just for the desserts!
